The company positioned the new vehicle as an "embodied AI flagship SUV," saying the new model has achieved major cross-generational breakthroughs in design, smart driving, and chassis technology.

Li Auto unveiled the new generation Li L9 on February 6 and prepared an ultimate version for the model called L9 Livis priced at 559,800 yuan ($82,100).

The Li L9 Livis carries the company's vision for a flagship SUV in the era of embodied AI, completing three cross-generational breakthroughs, Li Auto's founder, chairman, and CEO Li Xiang said previously.

The price is significantly higher than the current Li L9, which offers Pro and Ultra versions starting at 409,800 yuan and 439,800 yuan, respectively.

The Li L9 Livis is equipped with two of Li Auto's in-house developed 5 nm-based M100 chips, delivering an effective computing power of 2,560 TOPS, which is three times that of Nvidia's Thor-U.

The updated extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) is equipped with a 72.7-kilowatt-hour ternary lithium battery pack supplied by CATL, providing a battery range of 420 kilometers under the CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) conditions, its regulatory filing showed.

The new model also features an 800-volt fully active suspension system and a drive-by-wire chassis, technological upgrades aimed at providing a higher level of autonomous driving and vehicle control experience.

Li Auto is resetting its priorities toward its most certain business, with an overall strategic direction to reclaim leadership in the EREV sector in China.
