As the first product launched after Voyah's debut on the Hong Kong stock market, the new large SUV Taishan X8 opened for pre-sales on April 22, with prices starting at 302,900 yuan ($44,360).

As of the end of April, presale orders for the model had exceeded 30,000 units, Voyah said today.

The new vehicle is offered in both plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) versions, featuring an 800-volt high-voltage platform and 5C super-fast charging technology.

The PHEV version of the Taishan X8 offers a battery range of up to 370 kilometers, while the BEV version boasts a range of up to 727 kilometers.

To further stimulate market demand and maintain sales momentum, Voyah has rolled out a series of car-purchasing promotions in May.

Consumers can enjoy zero-down-payment and five-year low-interest policies. With various subsidies combined, buyers can save over 20,000 yuan directly on their purchase.

As of press time, Voyah fell 6.4% in early trading to HK$7.02 per share, with a total market capitalization of HK$26 billion ($3.3 billion).
