- First vehicles, including the Geely E5 and Starray EM-i, are expected to hit the Austrian market in the second quarter of 2026.
- The move follows Geely's expansion into Hungary last month.

Chinese automaker Geely Auto has reached an agreement with Europe's AutoWallis to enter Austria.
AutoWallis will serve as the local distributor for the Hangzhou, Zhejiang-based auto giant, taking charge of Geely's import and distribution operations in Austria.
The first vehicles to be introduced in Austria are expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2026, including the Geely E5 and Starray EM-i, Geely said in a press release on Saturday.
The electrified product portfolio encompasses both battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs).
Headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, AutoWallis is a leading regional distributor with an extensive operational footprint covering 17 Central and Eastern European countries and representing more than 30 brands.

The strategic push into Austria closely follows Geely's move last month to introduce the same electric models to neighboring Hungary, expanding its footprint in the region.
Geely's vehicle sales reached 233,031 units in March, edging up 0.37% from a year earlier and rising 13.03% from January, according to data released April 1.
Sales of BEVs fell 18% year-on-year to 70,557 units in March, while PHEV deliveries surged 70% to 56,762 units.
The auto manufacturing giant saw its exports hit a record 81,639 units in March, surging 120% from a year earlier and 34.10% from the previous month, extending its growth momentum.
For the first quarter, Geely Auto's total sales stood at 709,358 units, up about 1% year-on-year. Sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) climbed 9% during the period, indicating ongoing progress in the company's structural transition.
