Xpeng deliveries up 2% in Dec, Q4 volume below guidance

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) saw moderate delivery growth last month as it concluded 2025 with an overall strong performance.

The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker delivered 37,508 vehicles in December, marking a 2.22 percent year-on-year increase and a 2.12 percent rise from November, according to data released today.

Model-specific delivery figures for Xpeng are expected to be available later this month.

Xpeng delivered 116,249 vehicles in the fourth quarter, falling below the lower end of its guidance range of 125,000 to 132,000 units.

The quarterly deliveries rose 27.04 percent year-on-year and were flat compared to the third quarter's 116,007 units.

The company previously guided the fourth quarter total revenue to range between RMB 21.5 billion ($3.07 billion) and RMB 23.0 billion, representing about 33.5 percent to 42.8 percent year-on-year growth.

For the full year 2025, Xpeng delivered 429,445 vehicles, a 125.94 percent increase year-on-year.

The company delivered 45,008 vehicles in overseas markets in 2025, a 96 percent year-on-year increase, Xpeng said.

By the end of 2025, Xpeng had expanded its overseas presence to 60 countries and regions.

Cumulative deliveries since inception reached 1,019,824 units by the end of 2025.

The company is banking on extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models to drive 2026 sales growth.

On November 20, it launched the extended-range version of its X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), marking its first EREV model.In recent days, Xpeng previewed the facelifted P7+ sedan that will add EREV options and teased the extended-range version of its G7 SUV.

The company has also filed for the EREV version of its G6 SUV in China.

This marks Xpeng's second localized production project in Asia-Pacific and third globally, with mass production slated for 2026.
