This represents a 20 percent year-on-year increase and a 6.9 percent rise from September.
CAAM's NEV sales figures are automakers' wholesale sales, including both domestic sales in China and exports to overseas markets. NEVs include BEVs, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and fuel cell vehicles.
October BEV sales reached a record 1,109,000 units, marking the second time sales surpassed the one-million-unit mark. This represents a 31.7 percent year-on-year increase and a 4.8 percent rise from September.
