- Deliveries of the all-new ES8 will accelerate further in November, with production capacity set to increase by 70 percent compared to October, a Nio executive said.
- Nio aims to further boost production capacity in December, targeting additional deliveries beyond the 15,000-unit baseline.

Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) management previously outlined production plans for the third-generation ES8 SUV in October and December, without mentioning November. Now an executive has provided some insight.
Deliveries of the all-new ES8 will accelerate further in November, with production capacity expected to increase by 70 percent compared to October, said Ma Lin, Nio's assistant vice president of brand and communications, on Weibo today.
In December, the company will strive to further increase production capacity, aiming for more deliveries beyond the 15,000-unit baseline, Ma said.
Ma made these remarks while reposting Nio's Weibo announcement celebrating the 10,000th delivery of the all-new ES8.
Nio officially launched the third-generation ES8 at Nio Day 2025 on September 20, with deliveries commencing the following day on September 21.
The milestone delivery of the updated SUV's 10,000th unit came 40 days after its market launch.
During a September 2 earnings call, Nio management said the all-new ES8 would reach 10,000 units monthly production capacity in October and 15,000 units in December.
Today's milestone of 10,000 cumulative deliveries indicates October's production did not meet the planned 10,000-unit target.
In September, ES8 deliveries totaled 2,803 units, primarily the third-generation model, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Deliveries of the older ES8 nearly halted in August, totaling only 77 units as the updated version neared launch.
