- This included over 4,300 units for the Nio main brand, 4,500 units for its sub-brand Onvo, and over 1,500 units for another sub-brand Firefly.
- The achievement stems from the robust performance of two large SUVs: the Nio ES8 and the Onvo L90.
Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) continued its strong weekly delivery performance as two SUV models maintained robust growth.
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker delivered 10,300 vehicles last week, marking the second consecutive week surpassing the 10,000-unit mark, according to a report today by local media Securities Times.
The Nio main brand delivered over 4,300 units last week, its sub-brand Onvo delivered 4,500 units, and another sub-brand, Firefly, delivered over 1,500 units, the report said.
Production capacity for the all-new Nio ES8 continues to ramp up, the report noted.
The report did not specify the measurement standard for these delivery figures, though they appear to be based on insurance registrations.
Previously, these figures were widely shared by automotive bloggers every Tuesday, but they have been unavailable since the start of this month.
For the week ending October 19, Nio Inc delivered 10,500 vehicles, comprising over 4,000 Nio-branded cars, more than 5,000 Onvo cars, and over 1,500 Firefly units.
The robust performance of the Nio brand was driven by the new ES8 SUV, which was launched at Nio Day 2025 on September 20 with deliveries commencing the following day on September 21.
The ES8 delivered 2,803 units in September -- its highest monthly figure since January 2019 -- making it Nio's third-highest delivering model, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Nio management previously said the goal is for the third-generation ES8 to reach 10,000 units monthly production capacity in October and 15,000 units by December.
Onvo's strong performance was driven by the L90 large electric SUV, which was launched on July 31 with deliveries starting the following day on August 1.
On October 25, the L90 reached 30,000 cumulative deliveries, just 86 days after its first unit was delivered. Onvo said at the time that the L90 was poised to surpass 10,000 deliveries in October.
In August and September, the L90 delivered 10,575 and 10,997 units respectively.
