Leapmotor to launch updated C11 SUV on Jul 10, followed by B01 sedan at month's end

Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) will launch a facelifted model and a new model this month to cope with the intensifying competition in China's electric vehicle (EV) market with a series of new model launches.

The new energy vehicle (NEV) maker announced on Weibo yesterday that the updated C11 SUV (sport utility vehicle) will be officially launched on July 10.

On July 5, Leapmotor said on Weibo that the B01 electric sedan will officially hit the market in late July.

The company began accepting pre-orders for the updated C11 on July 3, with higher pre-sales prices than its predecessor but offering improved specifications.

The updated C11 starts at RMB 158,800 ($22,130) and continues to offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants.

The model is a mid-size SUV with dimensions of 4,780 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,658 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm.

The updated C11 BEV is built on an 800V high-voltage platform and offers a CLTC range of 640 kilometers, according to information released by Leapmotor last week.

The C11 was first launched on September 29, 2021, and as of the end of May, total deliveries reached 251,862 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

The B01 will be the second model in Leapmotor's B series, with the first model, the B10 SUV, launched on April 10.

The all-electric sedan made its debut at the 2025 Shanghai auto show in April, with dimensions of 4,770 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,735 mm.

On June 29, Leapmotor began pre-sales for the B01, with a starting price of RMB 105,800, lower than the Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) Mona M03 electric sedan.

The B01 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 to 8.7 seconds, with a CLTC range of 550 km or 650 km.

Leapmotor has launched several new models this year, including the new B10 compact SUV, the updated C10 SUV, and the updated C16 SUV.

Leapmotor currently sells the T03, B10, C01, C10, C11, and C16 models in China. Except for the T03 and B10, which are only available as BEV variants, all other current models also offer EREV variants.

The company delivered 48,006 vehicles in June, marking the second consecutive month of record-breaking sales, according to data released on July 1.
