In 2023, Leapmotor delivered 144,155 vehicles, up 29.67 percent from 111,168 in 2022.

By the end of 2023, Leapmotor had delivered 305,824 vehicles since its inception, data monitored by CnEVPost showed.

Founded in 2015, Leapmotor's models on sale include the mini EV T03, coupe model S01, flagship SUV model C11, and flagship sedan C01.

The company initially offered only battery electric vehicle (BEV) models, and deliveries began to decline significantly in the fourth quarter of 2022, dropping to 1,139 units by January 2023.

In an effort to reverse the sales decline, Leapmotor unveiled plans to release extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models in 2022 to target the larger market for plug-in hybrids.

On March 1, 2023, Leapmotor launched the C11 EREV, and on September 20, the company rolled out the C01 EREV.

Leapmotor will hold an event to showcase its in-house developed technologies on January 10, when pre-sales of its first global model, the C10, will begin, it said today.

The C10 made its global debut at IAA Mobility in Munich, Germany in September 2023 and made its China debut at the Guangzhou auto show in November.

The model is Leapmotor's mid-to-large-size SUV based on the latest Leap 3.0 architecture and will be available in BEV and EREV versions.
