Nio (NYSE: NIO) added five new Nio Houses -- its flagship showrooms -- in August, all of which are located in China, data released by the company today showed.

As of August 31, Nio had 134 Nio Houses worldwide, including 128 in China and six in Europe.

The company opened 11 new Nio Spaces -- its smaller showrooms -- in August, including 10 in China and one in Europe.

Nio has 286 Nio Spaces worldwide, including 278 in China and eight in Europe.

As of August 31, Nio had 301 service centers worldwide, including 252 in China and 49 overseas.

Notably, the number of Nio's service centers dropped by nine from 310 at the end of July. On August 1, the company said it had 261 service centers in China and 49 overseas.

Nio added 141 battery swap stations globally in August, including 136 in China and five overseas.

At the end of August, Nio had 1,800 battery swap stations globally, including 1,774 in China and 26 overseas. The company has 500 such facilities located along highways.

Nio also added 174 new charging stations in August, bringing the number to 3,074, with 3,064 in China and 10 overseas.

Nio's charging map added access to 91,663 new third-party charging piles in August, bringing the total to more than 1.36 million, including more than 500,000 overseas.

The EV maker is expected to announce its August vehicle delivery figures later today.
