The House is Nio's largest in the world, with a corridor connecting directly to its F2 factory.

Nio (NYSE: NIO) will open a new Nio House at NeoPark in Hefei, Anhui province on August 28, the company said.

Nio shared the information on Weibo today, offering no further details but sharing a brief video showing the process of building the Nio House from scratch.

In the video, the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker hinted that the opening ceremony for the Nio House would begin at 10 am on August 28 Beijing time.

On May 31, a YouTube video by Nio showed that the Nio House will be its largest in the world and have a corridor that connects directly to Nio's F2 factory.

Nio Houses is Nio's flagship showroom, and the company's showrooms in China also include the smaller Nio Spaces.

In addition to displaying and selling vehicles, Nio House functions as a space for Nio to offer owners a premium lifestyle.

NeoPark is an EV industrial park jointly promoted by Nio and the Hefei municipal government, and on April 29, 2021, the two jointly announced the official start of construction of the industrial park.

Nio's second factory is the first project of NeoPark, and the first model produced here is the Nio ET5, which started deliveries at the end of September 2022.

Nio's vehicles are produced at two factories in Hefei, including the F1 factory, the JAC Nio advanced manufacturing base, and the F2 factory in NeoPark.

Originally, both the old ES6 and ES8 were produced at the F1 plant, but to ensure production capacity, the F1 plant is now mainly producing the new ES6, while production of the new ES8 has been shifted to the F2 plant, according to an August 21 Caixin report.

The NeoPark is 16,950 mu (11.3 square kilometers) in size, and can accommodate an annual vehicle production capacity of up to 1 million units and an annual battery capacity of 100 GWh, with an upfront investment of 50 billion yuan ($7 billion), Nio's founder, chairman, and CEO, William Li, said in announcing the start of the park's construction in 2021.

It's worth noting that NeoPark is not exclusive to Nio, and that these vehicles and battery capacity are not Nio's planned capacity for itself.

Once the NeoPark is completed, Nio will save RMB 3,000 per vehicle in logistics costs, Li said at the time, adding that, Nio's current average mileage for full vehicle logistics is 901 kilometers, which is much less than the likes of Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
