Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI, HKG: 2015) delivered 13,024 Li ONE vehicles - the only model the company is currently delivering - in June, figures released today show.

That's up 13.3 percent from 11,496 vehicles in May and up 68.86 percent from 7,713 vehicles in the same month last year.

This brings Li Auto's deliveries in the second quarter to 28,687, up 63.23 percent from 17,575 vehicles in the same period last year, but down 9.55 percent from 31,716 vehicles in the first quarter.

Li Auto's deliveries in the second quarter were above the upper end of the 21,000-24,000 unit range that the company had previously guided for second-quarter deliveries.

In the January-June period, Li Auto delivered 60,403 units, up 100.32 percent from 30,154 units in the same period last year.

Cumulative deliveries of the Li ONE have reached 184,491 units since the car debuted on the market in 2019, according to the company.

On June 21, Li Auto launched the Li L9, the company's second model after the Li ONE, following its predecessor's extended-range technology.

The Li L9 is priced at the same flat rate as the Li ONE at RMB 459,800 ($68,650), up RMB 110,000 from the Li ONE's RMB 349,800.

The Li L9 has received more than 30,000 orders within 72 hours of the vehicle being available for reservation, the company said on June 24.

Each Li L9 order requires a deposit of 5,000 yuan, which is refundable within a certain period of time.

Li L9 has arrived at all Li Auto retail stores nationwide, Li Auto said today.

"Meanwhile, our users' enthusiasm for Li L9 did not hold back our order intake for 2021 Li ONE, which remains high on the back of continued user endorsement," said Shen Yanan, co-founder and president of Li Auto.

Test drives for Li L9 will be available at all our retail stores beginning on July 16, with deliveries to commence by the end of August, Shen added.

The model will be officially delivered to customers in August, and its deliveries could exceed 10,000 in September, Li Auto founder, chairman and CEO Li Xiang said on Weibo on June 4.

As of June 30, Li Auto had 247 retail stores in 113 cities, as well as 308 servicing centers and Li Auto-authorized body and paint shops operating in 226 cities, the company said.
