's recent prospectus filed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals its model plans for the next few years, and now one of its suppliers has revealed a new model codenamed "X03".

The supplier, a subsidiary of Anhui Zhongding Sealing, said in an announcement Wednesday that it is the supplier of the thermal management system assembly for Li Auto's X03 project.

The project's lifecycle is four years and the total amount is about RMB 1.12 billion ($173.5 million), the announcement said.

Anhui Zhongding Sealing said the car companies that use its thermal management system assembly include Motors, Li Auto, BMW, Volvo, Audi, Volkswagen and Geely.

Li Auto currently has only one model on sale, the Li ONE, which was released in 2019 and received an update in late May this year.

According to the company's filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, it will launch its X platform next year and build a full-size luxury electric SUV based on it.

Notably, though, the model will use extended-range technology like the Li ONE, the filing said.

Late last month, Chinese media reported that Li Auto will release a new SUV codenamed X01 in 2022, with a full upgrade compared to the Li ONE.

Starting in 2023, Li Auto will launch two new platforms, Whale and Shark, and plans to launch at least two premium all-electric vehicles each year by then.

Li Auto's filings with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange show that its X platform will also be used to produce electric vehicles starting in 2023. The Whale and Shark are the electric vehicle platforms.

In a previous internal letter from Li Auto, CEO Li Xiang said that all its cars will be equipped with self-driving features and will adhere to the brand positioning of luxury smart electric cars with a price point of RMB 150,000-500,000.
