Two Firefly product managers have set off from Berlin, Germany, and will travel through seven countries: Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy, and Austria.

Nio is recruiting distributor partner for Macau market, calling it a strategic upgrade in the city.

In 2025 and 2026, Nio will launch its cars in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Poland, and Romania.

By the end of this year, Firefly will be in about 20 overseas markets, Nio president said.

In the UAE, a single battery swap service costs AED 119 ($32) for a 100-kWh battery pack and AED 99 for a 75-kWh pack.

Nio has built its first battery swap station in the MENA region and the facility is expected to be operational on Thursday.

Nio opened a Nio Space in Dubai, its 439th globally, after opening a Nio House in Abu Dhabi last November.

After launching in China and Europe, Firefly cars may also be available in Southeast Asia and Latin America, but will not enter the US market for now.

Nio has already begun deliveries of the ES8 in the UAE, while local deliveries of the EC6 and ET5 will begin in the first quarter of 2025.

Nio to open its first Nio House in the UAE on November 28 with CEO William Li attending the opening ceremony.
