The EZ-60 is a strategic model developed by Mazda for global markets and will be exported to markets outside China next year.

Over the past four months, pre-orders for the EZ-60 have surpassed 40,000 units.

As of August 4, pre-orders for the EZ-60 in China have exceeded 38,000 units since April 23.

The EZ-60 has set a record for being the fastest joint venture new energy SUV in China to surpass 20,000 pre-orders, Changan Mazda said.

CATL and Changan Mazda will jointly build NEVs based on CATL's CIIC skateboard chassis.
