The BYD Sea Lion 07 BEV would have a price range of RMB 200,000 to RMB 260,000, an executive said last year.
The launch of BYD's e-Platform 3.0 Evo, as well as the Sea Lion 07, will begin at 7 pm Beijing Time on May 10, the new energy vehicle (NEV) maker announced on May 8.
The Sea Lion 07 is a coupe SUV with length, width and height of 4,830 mm, 1,925 mm and 1,620 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2,930 mm, according to a previous regulatory filing.
The price range of the Sea Lion 07 BEV will be RMB 200,000 ($27,700) to RMB 260,000, Zhang Zhuo, general manager of BYD's Ocean series sales division, said on November 19 last year.
