That 6 millionth BYD NEV is the Bao 5, the first model from sub-brand Fangchengbao, whose first delivery took place yesterday.

Fang Cheng Bao delivered the first Bao 5 vehicles to their owners today, one day ahead of the original schedule.

The Atto 3 -- BYD's first global model -- continues to sell well in regions including Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand, and Brazil, the company previously said.

For orders placed from November 21, the expected delivery lead time for the two lower-priced versions of the Bao 5 is around 4-6 weeks, while the highest-priced version will be delivered from January.

BYD began pre-sales of the Song L on October 31, with a price range of RMB 220,000 to RMB 280,000 for the pre-sale.

The sodium battery base is planned to have a total investment of RMB 10 billion and an annual capacity of 30 GWh.

The Sealion will become BYD's SUV series for the Ocean lineup, with the Sealion 05 debuting next year, and more models including the Sealion 06 coming in the future, an executive said.

Yangwang unveiled the concept car and supercar platform at the Guangzhou auto show, which began today, showcasing some of its most advanced technologies.

BYD's Ocean range of SUVs will be integrated into the Sealion array and sedan models into the Seal array.

In addition to the Atto 3, Dolphin and Seal, BYD said it will launch a number of competitive NEV models in global markets.
