Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) announced on Wednesday that it will report its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2026 on Thursday, May 28.
The earnings release will take place before the US markets open, according to a statement from the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker.
The company's management will host an earnings conference call at 7:00 am US Eastern Time on May 28.
Investors will closely monitor Xpeng's latest financial performance after it achieved a historic first-ever quarterly profit in the fourth quarter of 2025.
In the fourth quarter, Xpeng recorded a net profit of 380 million yuan ($56 million), marking a significant financial milestone.
In the first quarter of this year, the company delivered a total of 62,682 vehicles, representing a 33.32% decline from the same period last year.
Despite the year-on-year drop, the delivery figure still fell within the company's previously set guidance range of 61,000 to 66,000 units.
Xpeng previously estimated that its total revenues for the first quarter would be between 12.2 billion yuan and 13.28 billion yuan.
The earnings release comes just days after Xpeng is set to officially launch its new flagship SUV model, the GX, on May 20.
The launch of the GX model marks Xpeng's further expansion into the high-end luxury market, which is of great significance for improving its overall profitability.
The company is also actively advancing its AI strategy, planning to increase its research and development investments related to physical AI to 7 billion yuan this year.
Xpeng's local peer Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) is also scheduled to report its first-quarter earnings on May 28. Li Auto's management will hold an earnings conference call at 8:00 am US Eastern Time on the same day.
Meanwhile, another rival, Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO), will announce its first-quarter financial results before the US markets open on May 21.
