Geely Auto sub-brand Geely Galaxy has teased the Starship 7 EV, an all-electric SUV, as an addition to the Starship 7 lineup.
Geely Galaxy teased the Starship 7 EV on Weibo on Wednesday and shared the first batch of official images.
The electric SUV is a sister model to the currently available Starship 7 EM-i hybrid SUV, marking Geely Galaxy's latest effort to flesh out its product lineup.
The Starship 7 EV measures 4,740 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,685 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,755 mm, according to previously released regulatory filing information.
This is consistent with its 2026 Starship 7 EM-i, which was launched in November 2025.
The compact all-electric SUV will feature a front-mounted single-motor layout, capable of delivering a maximum power output of 160 kilowatts (215 hp) and a peak torque of about 300 Nm.
The new vehicle will offer two battery options, including 60.2-kilowatt-hour and 68.39-kWh battery packs, providing a maximum pure electric range of up to 605 kilometers.
Pricing for the Starship 7 EV is expected to be as highly aggressive as its plug-in hybrid counterpart. The Starship 7 EM-i currently has a discounted starting price of 95,800 yuan ($14,010).
The release of the new car teaser comes as Geely seeks to grab more market share in China. It is attempting to mount an offensive against industry leader BYD in the price-sensitive family segment.
Just a day earlier, Galaxy launched the all-new M7 hybrid SUV with an aggressive pricing strategy, featuring a limited-time starting price of 109,800 yuan.
Geely Auto's vehicle sales came in at 233,031 units in March, up a marginal 0.37% from a year earlier and rising 13.03% from January, according to data released on April 1.
By powertrain, its battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales in March stood at 70,557 units, down 18% year-on-year, while plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) sales reached 56,762 units, a 70% surge from a year ago.
