- The model is likely the Zeekr 8X, originally planned for launch in the fourth quarter of 2025 but subsequently delayed.
- Reports earlier this month indicated the Zeekr 8X is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2026.

On the final day of 2025, Zeekr previewed a new SUV (sport utility vehicle) model, gearing up for next year's product launch.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker shared a poster on Weibo today to mark the end of 2025, featuring rear details of the SUV model wrapped in camouflage.
The model is likely the Zeekr 8X, which was originally scheduled for a 2025 launch but has since been delayed.
Zeekr first mentioned the 8X hybrid SUV during a May conference call, stating it would launch in the fourth quarter.
This plan was postponed as Zeekr focused on multiple model facelifts in the second half of the year.
Local automotive outlet Yiche reported on December 3 that the Zeekr 8X was expected to debut in the first quarter of 2026, with a starting price around RMB 400,000 ($57,250) and a primary sales range projected between RMB 450,000 and RMB 500,000.
Notably, on December 25, another domestic auto media outlet Auto Home reported that this new SUV model may be rebranded as the Zeekr 9S.
Internally codenamed "Orca," the SUV can be viewed as a sportier variant of the Zeekr 9X luxury SUV, Auto Home said.
The Zeekr 9S could debut as early as January 2026 and launch by the end of the first quarter, the report cited sources as saying.
Its starting price is expected to be around RMB 450,000, lower than the Zeekr 9X's average transaction price of RMB 538,000, the report said.
The Zeekr 9X was launched on September 29 as the brand's first hybrid model, with a starting price of RMB 465,900.
Earlier today, Zeekr announced that the Zeekr 9X surpassed 10,000 monthly deliveries in December.
