Xpeng's (NYSE: XPEV) Mona M03 electric sedan maintained robust deliveries last month, serving as a key driver behind the company's record-breaking monthly shipments.
The Mona M03 delivered 16,424 units in October, marking its 14th consecutive month exceeding 10,000 units, according to data compiled by CnEVPost from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
This represents a 60.97 percent year-on-year increase and a 12.91 percent rise from September's 14,546 units.
The electric sedan remains Xpeng's top-selling model, contributing 39.09 percent to the electric vehicle (EV) maker's October deliveries of 42,013 units -- up from 34.98 percent in September.
From January to October, the Mona M03 delivered 148,413 units, accounting for 41.78 percent of Xpeng's total deliveries during the same period.
Launched on August 27, 2024, the Mona M03 currently offers four variants with starting prices ranging from RMB 119,800 ($16,820) to RMB 139,800.
Cumulative deliveries of the Mona M03 reached 197,022 units by the end of October, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Beyond the Mona M03, Xpeng's current lineup includes the P7 sedan, P7+ sedan, G6 SUV (sport utility vehicle), G7 SUV, G9 SUV, and X9 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
The G6 delivered 7,929 units in October, making it Xpeng's second-highest volume model. This represents a 1.80 percent year-on-year increase and a 10.09 percent rise from September.
The SUV contributed 18.87 percent to Xpeng's total October deliveries.
From January to October, the G6 delivered 65,147 units, up 59.85 percent year-on-year.
Xpeng launched updated versions of its G6 and G9 SUVs on March 13, featuring upgraded configurations and reduced pricing.
The P7 delivered 5,662 units in October, ranking as the company's third-highest volume model. This represents a 401.51 percent year-on-year increase but a 30.18 percent decrease from September.
The electric sedan contributed 13.48 percent to Xpeng's October deliveries.
Xpeng launched the new-generation P7 on August 27 and commenced nationwide deliveries on August 28.
The P7+ delivered 5,568 units in October, accounting for 13.25 percent of Xpeng's monthly deliveries and ranking as the fourth-highest volume model. This represents an 8.24 percent increase from September's 5,144 units.
The G7 delivered 3,465 units in October, a 16.75 percent increase from September's 2,968 units, contributing 8.25 percent to Xpeng's October deliveries.
The SUV was launched on July 3, with deliveries commencing on July 7.
The G9 delivered 1,726 units in October, down 24.56 percent year-on-year and down 6.35 percent month-on-month.
From January to October, the G9 delivered 23,226 units, marking a 5.64 percent year-on-year increase.
The X9 delivered 1,239 units in October, down 10.28 percent year-on-year and down 29.92 percent month-on-month.
From January to October, the X9 delivered 17,359 units, down 7.70 percent year-on-year.
