- The change of plan comes after Zeekr's intensive rollout of new models over the past month.
- The Zeekr 007 was initially launched in December 2023, with its last update occurring in August 2024.

Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) will delay the launch of the updated Zeekr 007 electric sedan to the second quarter of 2026, following an intensive month of new model launches.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker mentioned this change in a Q&A posted on Weibo today, saying it will prioritize ensuring deliveries of the current model.
The current Zeekr 007 is built on an 800-volt high-voltage architecture and boasts a CLTC range of up to 870 kilometers, the company emphasized.
The sedan can charge from 10 percent to 80 percent in as little as 10.5 minutes and achieves a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.84 seconds, the EV maker noted.
Zeekr currently offers purchase incentives for the Zeekr 007, including 5-year zero-interest financing.
The Zeekr 007 was initially launched in December 2023 as the brand's first model targeting the mainstream EV market.
In August 2024, Zeekr launched the 2024 Zeekr 007 featuring faster charging speeds and enhanced driver assistance capabilities.
In August this year, Zeekr announced it would update four models -- the Zeekr X SUV, Zeekr 007, Zeekr 001 shooting brake, and Zeekr 7X SUV -- by year-end.
The refreshed Zeekr 007 will feature interior and exterior detail adjustments, while retaining its driver assistance suite, battery and powertrain system, the company said on August 8.
Zeekr has seen an intensive new model rollout over the past month.
On September 29, it launched the Zeekr 9X luxury hybrid SUV, the brand's first hybrid model.
On October 11, Zeekr officially launched the updated Zeekr 001, featuring a more powerful powertrain and ultra-fast charging.
On October 20, Zeekr commenced pre-sales for the updated Zeekr 7X, with its market launch scheduled for October 28.
