- In 2026, a variety of Mona products will be launched in China, Europe, and other global markets, Xpeng CEO said.
- Year-to-date, Mona M03 has delivered 117,443 units, accounting for 43.24 percent of Xpeng's total deliveries during the same period.

Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) plans to introduce its Mona series in Europe next year, bringing its highly price-competitive products to overseas markets.
He Xiaopeng, chairman and CEO of the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker, told CNBC in an interview on Monday that Xpeng will launch the Mona series in Europe next year.
"In 2026 you can expect a variety of Mona products launched into the Chinese and European markets, as well as in rest of the world," He said, in comments translated by CNBC.
"I believe by then, what we launch will be very proven and very excellent vehicles," he said.
These vehicles will likely be priced lower than some of Xpeng's higher-end models like the P7 and G6, CNBC noted.
Mona stems from Xpeng's August 2023 acquisition of ride-hailing giant Didi Global's electric vehicle business.
Xpeng initially positioned Mona as an independent brand but later shifted strategy to position it as a product lineup under the Xpeng brand.
The Mona series' first model, the M03 electric sedan, was launched in China on August 27, 2024, with a starting price of RMB 119,800 ($16,820) -- half the cost of Tesla's (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3.
The M03 name is meant to salute the Tesla Model 3, Mr. He said during the model's unveiling on July 3, 2024.
On May 28 this year, Xpeng launched the Mona M03 Max variant, starting at RMB 129,800, featuring driver assistance capabilities comparable to Tesla's FSD (Full Self-Driving) as standard.
The Mona M03 delivered 15,334 units in August, marking its 12th consecutive month surpassing the 10,000-unit threshold and accounting for 40.66 percent of Xpeng's monthly deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Year-to-date, the electric sedan has delivered 117,443 units, contributing 43.24 percent of Xpeng's total deliveries during the same period.
