Geely to launch 5 new models in H2 2025

Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) will launch five new models in the second half of this year, its CEO Gan Jiayue said at today's 2025 mid-year business conference.

The five new models are all hybrid cars, including the Zeekr 9X SUV (sport utility vehicle), Lynk & Co's Lynk 10 EM-P sedan, Geely Galaxy A7 sedan, and Geely Galaxy M9 SUV.

The last model was not mentioned, but it could be the 8X SUV from Zeekr.

Geely will make every effort to achieve its annual sales target of 3 million vehicles, Gan said.

On July 1, the automaker announced that it had raised its full-year sales target by about 11 percent from 2.71 million to 3 million.

Geely sold 1,409,180 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 47 percent year-on-year.

This means that the company aims to sell 1,590,820 vehicles in the second half of the year, averaging 265,137 vehicles per month.

The Geely brand sold 1,164,303 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 30 percent year-on-year, including 548,408 vehicles sold by Geely Galaxy in the first half of the year.

Zeekr sold 90,740 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 3 percent year-on-year. Lynk & Co sold 154,137 vehicles in the first half of the year, up 22 percent year-on-year.

In the first half of this year, Geely sold 510,803 pure electric vehicles, up 173 percent year-on-year. PHEV models accounted for 214,348 units, up 61 percent year-on-year.
