- Mirattery said one of its founding shareholders, Hubei Science Technology Investment, has increased bet in its Series C round of financing.
- Earlier this month, Mirattery announced it had entered into a partnership with CATL, another founding shareholder, involving an equity investment.

Mirattery, the battery asset operator of Nio (NYSE: NIO), said one of its founding shareholders, Hubei Science Technology Investment, has upped bet in its Series C round of financing.
The company mentioned the financing in a statement today about two partnership signings, saying its business development was firmly favored by investors.
Mirattery didn't mention any further details about the financing, including when the Series C round began, the size of the amount, and whether it has closed.
The company entered into strategic cooperation with Hubei Science Technology Investment and Wuhan Optics Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park Construction and Service Center respectively today, to deepen cooperation in the areas of battery asset management, industrial investment and capital markets.
The signing ceremonies were attended by Wuhan-based Mirattery's chairman Stanley Qu, CEO Lai Xiaoming and local officials.
Qu is Nio's CFO and has also been head of Nio Power, the electric vehicle (EV) maker's energy business, since April.
Hubei Science Technology Investment, as a founding shareholder of Mirattery, has given the company a strong impetus to establish and grow into a leader in battery asset management, a statement by Mirattery said.
Founded nearly five years ago, Mirattery has surpassed 27 GWh of battery assets under management and served over 350,000 users, according to the company.
Mirattery was founded on August 18, 2020, with joint investment from CATL, Nio, Guotai Junan and Hubei Science Technology Investment.
In August 2020, Nio launched its BaaS (battery as a service) battery rental business, and Mirattery is the manager of these battery assets for rental.
Earlier this month, Mirattery announced a partnership with CATL (SHE: 300750) involving an equity investment.
