The ES6 remains the largest contributor to Nio Inc's deliveries until Onvo L60 capacity is significantly ramped up.
Nio's (NYSE: NIO) deliveries continue to be supported mainly by the ES6 SUV (sport utility vehicle), before a significant increase in capacity for its Onvo sub-brand.
The ES6 delivered 6,471 vehicles in October, making it the highest-delivering Nio model last month and contributing 30.85 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shared by local automotive media outlet Yiche.
This is the first time since April that monthly deliveries of the ES6 have fallen below 7,000, down 18.10 percent from September but up 10.14 percent year-on-year.
In the January-October period, the ES6 delivered 62,085 units, up 41.33 percent year-on-year, contributing 36.47 percent of Nio's deliveries in the same period.
Figures released by Nio earlier this month showed it delivered 20,976 vehicles in October, including 16,657 under the main Nio brand and 4,319 under sub-brand Onvo.
Onvo -- whose first model, the L60, was launched on September 19 and began deliveries on September 28 -- contributed 20.59 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries in October.
Nio's main brand currently sells eight models -- ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, ET5 Touring -- of which the first five are SUVs and the last three are sedans.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker unveiled the ET9 last December, and deliveries of the executive flagship sedan are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025.
The ET5 Touring, which delivered 4,306 vehicles in October, was the Nio brand's second-highest selling model last month, contributing 20.53 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.
From January through October, the ET5 Touring delivered 40,947 vehicles, contributing 24.05 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.
The EC6 coupe SUV delivered 2,397 vehicles in October, contributing 11.43 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.
From January through October, the EC6 delivered 21,885 vehicles, contributing 12.85 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.
The ET5 delivered 2,042 vehicles in October, contributing 9.73 percent of Nio Inc's monthly deliveries.
The sedan delivered 22,349 vehicles in January-October, contributing 13.13 percent.
The ES8 SUV delivered 747 vehicles in October, contributing 3.56 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.
From January to October, the Nio flagship SUV delivered 7,615 vehicles, contributing 4.47 percent.
