Zeekr today announced incentives including 0 down payment, zero-interest financing, and a new, lower-priced variant for the Zeekr X.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) saw another record month of deliveries last month as its new model, the Zeekr X, began to offer more contributions.
The electric vehicle (EV) maker delivered a record 25,049 vehicles in October, surpassing September's previous record of 21,333 vehicles, according to data it released today.
This is a 91.55 percent increase year-on-year and a 17.42 percent increase from September.
In the January-October period, Zeekr delivered 167,922 vehicles, up 82.32 percent year-on-year.
The company is targeting to deliver around 230,000 vehicles for the whole of this year. This means that to accomplish its goal, it needs to deliver an average of about 31,000 vehicles per month in the remaining two months.
In communications with media including CnEVPost after launching the Zeekr Mix in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on October 23, Zeekr management said the company remains confident of meeting its 230,000-unit delivery target.
Fourth-quarter deliveries typically account for more than 30 percent of the year's total, and Zeekr's new products are starting to provide contributions and sales channels are increasing, its management said.
At the end of October, cumulative deliveries since Zeekr's inception stood at 364,555 vehicles, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Zeekr was founded in March 2021, and its first model, the Zeekr 001, was launched on April 17, 2021, and deliveries began in October 2021.
In addition to the Zeekr 001, the company currently sells the Zeekr 007, Zeekr 009, Zeekr X, Zeekr 7X, Zeekr Mix.
The Zeekr 001 shooting brake, Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), Zeekr X city SUV (sport utility vehicle), and Zeekr Mix five-seaters are all aimed at niche markets, while the Zeekr 007 sedan and Zeekr 7X SUV are aimed at the mainstream EV market.
The company launched the Zeekr 7X on September 20 and deliveries started on September 21.
On October 15, Zeekr announced that deliveries of the Zeekr 7X crossed 10,000 units, 25 days after the model's launch.

The model is available in two variants, which start at RMB 279,900 ($39,290) and RMB 299,900. Zeekr's management doesn't yet have a sales target for the model, as it explores an entirely new market.
