Since the end of 2021, Zeekr has delivered more than 240,000 Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009 vehicles equipped with Mobileye SuperVision solutions to customers in China and globally, according to the company.

To better respond to customer demand in the Chinese market, the two companies plan to accelerate the scale-up deployment and delivery of core Mobileye SuperVision platform technologies, Mobileye said.

Based on the deepened cooperation, Zeekr will be able to apply Mobileye's road intelligence technologies for any of its vehicles, and Zeekr engineers will be able to better utilize Mobileye's technologies and development tools for data validation.

The experience with Zeekr will also help Mobileye accelerate its progress in deploying a full suite of autonomous driving solutions for its other customers in China, the company said.

The two companies will also work together to localize and customize other key Mobileye technologies, such as the Mobileye Driving Experience Platform (DXP), a collaborative tool that enables automakers to customize autonomous driving styles and user experiences.

In addition, the two companies will launch next-generation ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), driverless vehicle products based on the EyeQ6H system-on-chip for Zeekr and its related brands in global markets.

Zeekr plans to deploy the Mobileye SuperVision solution in additional vehicle models and next-generation platforms, as well as expand the coverage of its existing Navigation Zeekr Pilot (NZP) system on highways and urban roads, Mobileye said.

To date, highway NZP based on the SuperVision solution has covered more than 150 cities in China, according to the company.

SuperVision is Mobileye's assisted driving solution released in 2021, and the Zeekr 001, which began deliveries in October 2021, is the first model to be equipped with the solution.

By 2026, the number of SuperVision-equipped vehicles could reach about 1.2 million, Mobileye founder and CEO Amnon Shashua said last January.

On September 14, 2023, Mobileye announced a partnership with FAW Group, one of China's largest automotive groups, with planned to begin shipping Mobileye's assisted driving system in production vehicles in 2024.
