Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, is starting to warm up for its new model, the Zeekr Mix, which has already entered a regulatory filing catalog earlier this month.

Officially named the Zeekr Mix, Zeekr's fifth model aims to create a new family mobility lifestyle, it announced today.

The Zeekr Mix will break the boundaries of space and break through the mobility imagination, it said.

The model draws inspiration from the Tiangong space station, referencing its exterior form and large interior space, Zeekr said.

Zeekr's current models on sale include the Zeekr 001 shooting brake, Zeekr 007 sedan, Zeekr X SUV, and Zeekr 009 MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle).

On March 12, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released its latest catalog of models that will be allowed to be sold for public comment, and the Zeekr Mix was included.

The Zeekr Mix is a five-seater with length, width and height of 4,688 mm, 1,995 mm and 1,755 mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 3,008 mm, according to its filing pages.

The models that have made it into the filing catalog are single-motor versions with a maximum motor power of 310 kW.

The Zeekr Mix is powered by Li-ion ternary batteries, and the supplier is a joint venture between and Geely.

Zeekr's sales target for this year is 230,000 units, Geely Automobile Holdings (HKG: 0175) said when it reported 2023 annual results on March 20. That represents about 94 percent growth, considering it delivered 118,685 vehicles in 2023.

The brand will launch 3 new models in 2024 to enter more segments, according to the earnings report.

The 3 new models will include the Zeekr Mix, an all-electric mid-size luxury SUV, and a top-of-the-line luxury all-electric MPV.
