China FAW's Hongqi brand will launch the EH7, a mid-to-large-size electric sedan, on March 20, the brand announced today on Weibo.

The launch event for the Hongqi EH7 will be held in Shenzhen, according to the Weibo.

The car is a mid-to-large-sized sedan based on the electrified intelligent network technology platform (FME) architecture, and is the first pure electric sedan built by the Hongqi brand based on this platform.

The Hongqi EH7 measures 4,980 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width and 1,490 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm, according to the October 2023 regulatory filing.

The vehicle is available in single-motor and dual-motor versions, with the single-motor version having a maximum power of 253 kW.

The dual-motor version is equipped with motors with a maximum power of 202 kW and 253 kW, respectively, and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in as fast as 3.9 seconds.

The Hongqi EH7 is powered by 's lithium ternary power packs and has a top speed of 190 kilometers per hour.
