Nio (NYSE: NIO) added 16 showrooms and 138 battery swap stations globally in November, according to information released today by the Nio App.
Nio's showrooms include the flagship Nio Houses and the smaller Nio Spaces. Nio Houses, in addition to showcasing vehicles and selling them, are spaces where Nio gives owners a premium lifestyle.
The company added three new Nio Houses in November, all of which are located in China. As of November 30, Nio Houses totaled 142 worldwide, including 136 in China and six in Europe.
Nio added 13 Nio Spaces in November, all of which are in China. As of November 30, Nio had 320 Nio Spaces worldwide, including 312 in China and eight overseas.
The company added 11 new service centers in November, including five in China and six overseas. This brings the total number of the facility to 315, including 259 in China and 56 overseas.
Nio added 2 new delivery centers in November, bringing the total number to 62.
In November, Nio added 138 battery swap stations, including 135 in China and 3 overseas.
Nio typically adds fewer battery swap stations at the beginning of each month and more at the end, data monitored by CnEVPost showed.
Of the 135 battery swap stations added in China in November, 97 were added in the second half of the month.
As of November 30, Nio had 2,217 battery swap stations globally, with 2,187 in China and 30 overseas.
The company aims to have 2,300 battery swap stations in China by the end of the year, 1,000 of which would be added this year.
Nio also added 127 charging stations in November, bringing the number to 3,485, of which 3,473 are in China and 12 are overseas.
As of November 30, Nio had 20,421 charging piles worldwide, including 20,383 in China and 38 overseas.
Nio's charging map added access to 42,845 third-party charging piles in November, bringing the total to more than 1.46 million, including more than 500,000 overseas.
