The new ES6, Nio's (NYSE: NIO) most important model, contributed more than 40 percent of the company's deliveries in the model's first full delivery month.

Nio ES6 retail sales in June were 4,677 units, up 360.33 percent from 1,016 units in May, according to data from China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shared by local automotive media Dongchedi.

This means that the ES6 contributed 43.68 percent of Nio's total deliveries of 10,707 vehicles in June, CnEVPost's calculations show.

Until July 2022 and before, Nio would share model-specific breakdown figures when it announced monthly deliveries. But the company has not continued to share them after that.

Nio officially launched the new ES6, which is based on the latest NT 2.0 platform, in China at a launch event on May 24, and its deliveries began the same night.

As Nio's lowest-priced SUV, the ES6 has historically been Nio's main seller, having contributed over 90 percent of monthly deliveries in the first several months of 2020. The new ES6 currently has a starting price of RMB 338,000 ($46,780).

On the eve of the new ES6's launch, it sold just 174 units in April, seeing its contribution to Nio's monthly deliveries fall to an all-time low of 2.61 percent.

Nio ES8 retail sales in June were 588 units, up 114.60 percent from May.

Nio launched the new ES8 at Nio Day 2022 on December 24, 2022, its first production vehicle transitioning to the latest NT 2.0 platform. Deliveries of the new ES8 began on June 28.

The Nio ES7 sold 340 units in June, a 34.74 percent decrease from May.

Launched on June 15, 2022, the ES7 is Nio's second model based on the NT 2.0 platform after the ET7, and the first SUV on this second-generation platform. Deliveries of the model begin on August 28, 2022.

The Nio ET7 sold 506 units in June, down 5.42 percent from May and down 88.37 percent from the same month last year.

The ET7, Nio's flagship sedan, was initially launched on January 9, 2021 at the Nio Day 2020 event, with deliveries beginning on March 28, 2022.

On the first day of the Shanghai auto show on April 18, Nio launched the 2023 ET7, whose deliveries began in mid-May.

The Nio ET5 sold 2,479 units in June, contributing 23.15 percent of its deliveries, but down 23.11 percent from May.

Launched on Nio Day 2021 in December 2021, the ET5 is Nio's second sedan after the ET7, with first deliveries beginning on September 30, 2022.

The ET5 Touring sold 1,339 units in June, contributing 12.51 percent of Nio's deliveries in June. The model was officially launched in China on June 15 and deliveries began on June 16.

Pricing for the ET5 Touring is exactly the same as the regular ET5, starting at RMB 298,000 for the version with a 75-kWh battery pack and RMB 356,000 for the 100-kWh version, including the battery.

Nio's two coupe SUVs, the EC7 and EC6, sold 756 and 22 units respectively in June. The EC7 is a new model based on the NT 2.0 platform, and the company is about to launch a new EC6 based on the NT 2.0 version.
