That's 99 days after the first production vehicle of the Zeekr 001 rolls off the production line on October 19, 2021.
Zeekr, Geely's premium electric vehicle brand, today announced it saw the 10,000th Zeekr 001 roll off the line, 99 days after the model's first production vehicle rolls off the line.
The Zeekr 001 is Zeekr's first model, and the company said it is now gradually ramping up production capacity to avoid long delivery lead times.
Zeekr was officially launched as a standalone company in March 2021, and on April 15, the Zeekr 001, a rebranding of the model previously known as the Lynk ZERO, was announced.
It is available in three models, with a current pre-subsidy price range of RMB 299,000 ($47,100) to RMB 368,000.
It is based on Geely's Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform, has a wheelbase of 3,005mm, and accelerates from 0-100 km in as fast as 3.8 seconds.
The first production unit of the Zeekr 001 rolled off the production line on October 19, 2021, with 199 units of the model delivered that month.
Zeekr deliveries were 2,012 units in November and 3,796 units in December.
For the full year 2021, Zeekr 001 deliveries were 6,007 units.
Zeekr has set a delivery target of 70,000 units for 2022, local media Cailian said earlier this month, citing the company.
Zeekr plans to export the Zeekr 001 to the EU market early next year, the report said, adding that the company expects to export up to 100,000 units in 2025.
Zeekr plans to launch a cumulative total of seven models by 2025, according to the report.
