This is the fourth consecutive month in which the ID. family of EVs has delivered more than 10,000 units in China, bringing total deliveries of the lineup to 70,625 units in 2021.

Volkswagen previously only announced sales of the ID family of EVs in China since June, but today it announced all sales figures for the series since its launch in March.

The Volkswagen ID. family of EVs is currently offered in China in three models, including the ID.3, ID.4 and ID.6.

The ID.3 is produced in China only by SAIC-Volkswagen, while the ID.4 and ID.6 are produced by SAIC-Volkswagen and FAW-Volkswagen, Volkswagen's joint ventures in China, respectively.

The ID.4X and ID.6X are produced by SAIC-Volkswagen and the ID.4 CROZZ and ID.6 CROZZ by FAW-Volkswagen.

Deliveries of the ID.4 CROZZ, which began on March 20, 2021, were the first in China.

Volkswagen launched the ID.3 in China on October 22, making it the third ID. series offered by the company in China, following the ID.4 and ID.6.

At the end of November, one month after the ID.3 was officially launched in China, SAIC Volkswagen offered a battery leasing program for consumers of the model, bringing the purchase threshold down by tens of thousands of yuan.
