Chinese automaker Chery's new electric SUV Big Ant X production version will be released in September, according to several Chinese media reports which said the company will also release the Little Ant Z by that time.
The Big Ant X will have a starting price of around RMB 160,000 ($24,750), the reports said.
The Chery Big Ant X concept was unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in late April and is based on the LIFE pure electric platform.

The car is equipped with an all-aluminum body and has an improved range of 600km compared to the 510km of the current Big Ant.
The Big Ant X Concept features the latest design language, with a front grille design called "pulse grating" and matrix headlights.
The sides of the car are equipped with newly shaped wheels and black trim strips for a sporty look. The rear of the new car is equipped with penetrating taillight clusters and spoilers, to a certain extent, to increase the overall sense of movement.
Chery says the car is equipped with a "Force Sensing Hatch" and that it will be equipped with V2X technology and an autonomous driving assistance system under L4 architecture.
Chery Big Ant X will use a permanent magnet synchronous motor and ternary lithium battery pack, and also equipped with an intelligent electric four-wheel-drive system.
