Bringing their models to games is an occasion for car companies to expand user awareness. After Nio, another Chinese company has done so.
SAIC-GM-Wuling, a three-way joint venture between GM China, SAIC and Guangxi Automobile Group, said Monday that a mobile game it co-produced with NetEase Games, "Ace Race Overdrive," will soon be available.
In the game, players will take on the role of a professional driver to participate in the race. The game provides a large number of cars, both factory-licensed real cars and surreal pilot cars.
According to Wuling, the game restores the look of the Mini EV Macaron. Players can drive the car drifting, cornering and tailgating.

The Mini EV Macaron is an upgraded model of the Mini EV, which was launched on April 8 and is available in a variety of color options.
The Hongguang Mini EV Macaron measures 2920 x 1493 x 1621mm and has a wheelbase of 1940mm. it has a 4-seat layout and the rear seats can be lowered 5/5 independently.
The Hongguang Mini EV Macaron continues to be powered by an electric motor with a maximum power of 20kW and a maximum torque of 85Nm.
It is available in two NEDC range versions of 120km and 170km.
The Mini EV sold 29,706 units in May, ranking as the top-selling vehicle in China's new energy market for the ninth consecutive month.
At the beginning of April, Nio EP9 officially launched in "Asphalt 9: Legends", bringing the once unattainable high-performance supercar "within reach" of users.
Nio said that players can upgrade vehicle parts in the game to improve performance.
This vehicle option features a variety of EP9's iconic blue paint job, as well as the game's exclusive FE Stratosphere Blue paint job, "a tribute to the legend," Nio said.
On February 18, Nio announced that the EP9, the first Asian electric supercar, has landed in the global version of top racing game Asphalt 9: Legends.
