On June 21, Huawei (Wuhan) Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industry Innovation Center was inaugurated in Wuhan Economic Development Zone, which was jointly built by the zone and Huawei.

Li Xiaojun, chief architecture officer of Huawei's smart vehicle solutions, said the center will be used for local science and technology innovation, talent incubation, and industrial ecology cultivation.

The center provides multiple platforms: a platform for positioning intelligent vehicles "cloud enablement", a platform for application innovation and incubation, a platform for industry convergence and development, and a platform for research innovation and talent cultivation.

These platforms will provide industry partners with R&D and application platform services for connected vehicles and autonomous driving, infrastructure cloud resource services, and expert consulting and talent incubation services.

This is the second intelligent connected vehicle industry innovation center established by Huawei in China.

In January this year, Changsha City and Huawei joined hands to build Kunpeng computing and intelligent connected vehicle ecology locally, which is the first Huawei autonomous driving cloud service project.

The two sides aim to strengthen the exploration of smart connected vehicle application scenarios in smart parking, smart public transportation, smart logistics, Robotaxi and other smart connected vehicle application scenarios to create a smart connected vehicle application scenario system, Huawei said.
