VOYAH, Dongfeng Motor's premium new energy vehicle brand, announced on January 28 the start of trial production of its first model, VOYAHFREE, a competitor to the Li ONE from .

The mid-size SUV is already available for reservation and is expected to be delivered in the third quarter of this year, with an expected price of no more than RMB 400,000 ($61,900).

The body dimensions are 4905/1950/1690mm, the wheelbase 2955mm, the wind resistance coefficient 0.28cd, and it is equipped with hidden door handles.

It is worth mentioning that the VOYAH's first integrated liftable triple screen spans the entire center console. The triple screen will automatically raise and lower when the vehicle is started and turned off.

The premium version comes with air suspension, which is automatically lowered when switching to "Performance Mode".

VOYAH FREE is available in extended range version and pure electric models, both with dual front and rear motors, with a combined maximum power of 500kW and peak torque of 1000N·m.

However, the extended-range version has a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.6 seconds, compared to 4.8 seconds for the electric-only version.

The extended range version derives its energy from a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender and a generator rated at 60kW, with a range of 860km; the pure electric version has a NEDC range of 500km.
