Chinese electric vehicle startup Hozon Auto (Chinese: 哪吒汽车) delivered 3,015 units in December, up 42 percent from 2,122 units in November, according to data released Monday by the company.

For the full year 2020, the company has delivered 15,091 vehicles, up 51 percent year-on-year.

Hozon Auto has three models on sale, the N01 and Neta V, which are positioned as small SUVs, and the Neta U, which is positioned as a compact SUV.

The Neta V was launched in early November 2020, and the company said the vehicle had more than 5,000 orders in its first month of availability, with 1,067 units actually delivered.

The Neta V is available in four models with a subsidized price range of RMB 5.99-75,900.

Neta V is available in two ranges and two power versions, with NEDC ranges of 301km and 401km respectively.

The Neta V is equipped with the company's in-house developed H-EPT 2.0 battery management system, which enables 95% of the full operating range to be maintained in the optimal temperature range of 15-45 degrees Celsius.

On December 2, 2020, Hozon Auto announced the launch of its Series C funding round, led by Huading Capital with an RMB 2 billion investment.

The company said that the round was recognized by many large and prestigious investment institutions and that the final financing will far exceed the originally planned RMB 3 billion, and that the Series C financing will be closed soon.

As of today, Hozon Auto has completed five rounds of financing with a cumulative amount of over RMB 7 billion.
