Han deliveries were 5,612 units in September, up 40.3 percent from August, according to data released by BYD on October 10.

In September, BYD delivered 3,624 units of the Han EV, up 51% from August, and 1,988 units of the Han DM, up 24.3% from August.

By the end of September, the total number of Han deliveries had exceeded 10,000 units, reaching 10,817 units. Among them, Han EV has delivered 7,229 units and Han DM has delivered 3,588 units.

Since the launch of Han on July 12, the number of orders for Han has been on the rise.

In order to meet the expectation of pre-booked customers, BYD's Shenzhen plant is working hard to increase production capacity to ensure supply, which has doubled two months since the launch of the Han EV and is currently undergoing continuous improvement.

Han EV is equipped with a blade battery that can charge the battery from 10% to 80% in 33 minutes and can accelerate the electric car to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds with over 3000 cycles of charging and discharging.

To ensure the production capacity of Han, BYD has decided to build eight new production lines in its Chongqing plant for blade battery production by the end of this year, achieving an annual production capacity of more than 20 GWh.
