The China Agricultural Machinery Equipment Innovation Center today unveiled China's first unmanned tractor ET504-H, which is equipped with 5G as well as hydrogen fuel cells, in central city Luoyang.
The tractor is based on China Mobile's 5G network and uses GPS antenna, millimeter wave radar and big data technology for remote control.
The tractor is equipped with China Mobile's 5G network card inside, which provides smooth movement supported by 5G technology.
The tractor is China's first 5G-based, hydrogen fuel cell-powered unmanned electric tractor based on the "Super Tractor I" released in 2018.
It can reach a range of 4 hours in just 3-5 minutes if refuelled with hydrogen fuel via a professional hydrogen refuelling station.
It has a maximum operating speed of 30 km/h. Thanks to the driverless technology on board, it can be on standby for 24 hours.
The successful development of 5G+ hydrogen fuel electric unmanned tractor is of great significance to comply with the trend of agricultural machinery environmental protection and realize the leapfrog development of China's agricultural machinery industry.
