Zeekr's first store in Singapore will open at the end of August. The first right-hand drive version of the Zeekr X has been delivered in Thailand.
Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) has launched the Zeekr X in Singapore and started deliveries of the compact SUV (sport utility vehicle) in Thailand as it continues its globalization efforts.
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker launched the Zeekr X in Singapore on August 1, offering two variants starting at S$199,999 ($150,580) for the standard version and S$214,999 for the flagship version, according to a statement today.
The Zeekr X was initially launched in China on April 12, 2023. Zeekr launched the 2024 Zeekr X on January 10 and the 2025 Zeekr X on July 1.
The SUV is now also offered in two variants in China, both starting at RMB 200,000 ($27,830)
The model's higher prices in Singapore is due to additional purchase costs and taxes that are much higher there than in China
Zeekr's first store in Singapore will officially open at the end of August, located at 9 Leng Kee Road, according to the company.
The store has two floors with a total area of about 1,300 square meters with sales and vehicle delivery capabilities, Zeekr said today.
Zeekr signed a partnership deal with local dealer Premium Auto in Singapore on December 28 last year, marking its entry into the country's automotive market.
Premium Auto, an Audi retail dealer, will build dedicated facilities for Zeekr, which will not be shared with Audi vehicles.
The launch in Singapore coincided with the delivery of the first right-hand drive version of the Zeekr X on August 1 in Thailand.
Zeekr started taking pre-orders for the Zeekr X and Zeekr 009 MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) in Thailand on March 25 and officially launched the Zeekr X there on July 11.
By the end of July, Zeekr had entered more than 30 mainstream overseas markets and expects to expand to more than 50 mainstream international markets by the end of this year, it said.
