Earlier this week local media reported that Xpeng will launch a sedan codenamed F57 later this year, which will be a notch above the company's current flagship sedan, the P7 series.

The F57's smart driving system will remove LiDAR in favor of a pure vision solution and use 3D millimeter-wave radars, according to local media.

The latest discount lowers the starting price of the Xpeng G6 to RMB 189,900.

The offer lowers the G9's starting price to RMB 253,900 in February.

The decline was mainly due to seasonal factors. The X9 MPV, which went on sale on January 1, delivered 2,478 units in January.

Xpeng said it will begin development of globally available highway NGP in 2024 and globally available XNGP functionality in 2025.

The upgrade, which is due to be completed by the end of February, is aimed at preparing for a new model and boosting the plant's capacity.

Xpeng is starting to offer a RMB 50,000 discount, or 14.7 percent, on the P7i Wing Edition, as competition heats up in China's EV space.

Xpeng has made a new round of organizational changes led by new president Wang Fengying, involving teams including marketing, human resources, data, manufacturing and product planning, according to local media.

The Xpeng brand will have a total of 10 models based on the SEPA 2.0 platform, many of which will be launched in 2024-2025. The Mona project's A-class sedan is scheduled for launch in the second half of the year.
