Xpeng has rolled out a new variant with scissor doors for the single-motor P7i 702 Max, starting at RMB 289,900, or RMB 249,900 after discount.

This is the latest reduction in Alibaba's holdings after it sold 25 million of Xpeng's ADSs last year. An Alibaba executive resigned as a director of Xpeng.

During next month's Beijing auto show, Xpeng will officially launch its new brand for the RMB 100,000 to RMB 150,000 segment.

Xpeng delivered solid fourth-quarter earnings although the guidance came in soft, said Deutsche Bank.

Xpeng guided for first-quarter deliveries between 21,000 and 22,500 units, meaning it expects to deliver 8,205-9,705 units in March.

Nio's models currently come standard with four Nvidia Orin chips, but it will carry its own in-house developed chip in the ET9, which it will start delivering next year.

Xpeng recently appointed Premium Automobiles in Singapore as its dealer, and its first model to retail there is expected to be the G6 SUV, according to The Straits Times.

Xpeng will launch a new brand in the next month, targeting markets priced between RMB 100,000 and RMB 150,000, the company's CEO said.

The remaining two of Xpeng's three co-founders have exited from the core management team, with the team led by chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng taking full reign of the company.

The flight validated that Xpeng Aeroht's products can meet the demands of use in complex urban environments, the company said.
