Monthly EV Sales

China's BEV sales in February totaled 544,000 units, up 85.1 percent year-on-year but down 5.2 percent from January.

BEVs sold 427,000 units at retail in February, up 94.4 percent year-on-year and up 1.7 percent from January.

Tesla sold 26,777 vehicles in the Chinese domestic market in February, down 11.16 percent year-on-year and down 20.55 percent from January.

China's retail sales of all passenger vehicles stood at 1.397 million units in February, up 26 percent year-on-year but down 22 percent from January.

China's passenger NEV wholesale sales were estimated at 840,000 units in February, up 82 per-cent year-on-year but down 5 percent from January.

In the January-February period, Tesla China sold 93,926 vehicles, including exports, a decrease of 28.74 percent year-on-year.

In February, BYD sold 67,025 NEVs in overseas markets, marking the third consecutive month of record highs.

In January-February, Leapmotor delivered 50,457 vehicles, up 167.78 percent from 18,843 in the same period last year.

The Nio main brand saw a 14.99 percent sequential increase in deliveries in February, while the Onvo sub-brand saw a 31.51 percent sequential decrease.

Zeekr Group delivered 31,277 vehicles in February, up 50.96 percent year-on-year but down 25.56 percent from January.
