This is part of Polestar China's efforts to build its own charging service system, with the company building its own charging network and accessing more third-party chargers.

Tesla plans to raise the prices of the cheaper versions of the Model Y in China, as a continuation of the price hike it put on the crossover's most expensive version in the country late last month.

This is another decline in Tesla's China-made vehicle sales after an 11.98 percent sequential drop in September.
