Priced at RMB 628,000 ($86,430), the Yangwang U7 is BYD's latest offensive in the luxury car market.

The U7 is a flagship sedan priced in the RMB 1 million ($138,000) class and will feature groundbreaking technologies, Yangwang said.

Yangwang said it has completed development and testing of its DiSus-Z body control system, which will be available soon with the U7.

Yangwang demonstrates in a video that the U7 can complete a rooftop maze game under the control of a phone via the responsive DiSus-Z body control system.

Yangwang has begun pre-sales of the U7 without releasing pricing information. The BYD sub-brand previously said the U7 would be priced in the 1-million-yuan level.

The Yangwang U7 will be powered by BYD's second-generation blade battery, which will have a charging multiplier of more than 5.5 C and a discharging multiplier of more than 14 C, according to an auto blogger.

Yangwang launched the U8 Off-road Master Edition with enhanced off-road capabilities at a starting price of RMB 1,098,000. The U7 sedan will be priced in the RMB 1 million range and will go on sale in the second half of the year.
