- Yangwang demonstrated in a video that the U7 can complete a maze game on the roof of the car through the responsiveness of the DiSus-Z body control system.
- Yangwang began pre-sales of the U7 last November, with no official launch date set.

Yangwang has showed off the U7's impressive body control system capabilities as the sedan is set to become a new addition to the BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) ultra-luxury sub-brand's product lineup.
Yangwang shared a video on Weibo today showing a player controlling the U7's suspension system from his phone to get a small ball out of a maze placed on the roof of the car.
The player completed the challenge by utilizing the phone's gyroscope to guide quick adjustments to the vehicle's suspension system.
“DiSus-Z, visible sensitivity,” Yangwang wrote.
DiSus is a body control system announced by BYD on April 10, 2023, when three branches were announced -- DiSus-C, an intelligent damping body control system; DiSus-A, an intelligent air body control system; and DiSus-P, an intelligent hydraulic body control system.
On April 25, 2024, Yangwang gave the U7 its debut at the 2024 Beijing auto show, stating that the sedan would be a flagship sedan priced in the RMB 1 million ($137,430) class.
The U7 will be the first model to feature BYD's DiSus-Z intelligent body control system, which Yangwang said at the time would allow the vehicle to offer ride comfort beyond that of a maglev.
Yangwang began pre-sales of the U7 at the Guangzhou auto show on November 15 last year, where customers could reserve the model by paying RMB 20,000 yuan.
Yangwang offers battery electric vehicle (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variants for the U7, similar to many BYD models.
The U7 has up to 1,300 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 270 kilometers per hour, Yangwang said previously.
The demonstration of the Yangwang U7's body control capabilities is the latest in Chinese homegrown brands to show off their automotive technological innovations.
Nio unveiled its executive flagship sedan, the ET9, at the Nio Day 2023 event on December 23, 2023, and later shared several videos showcasing the capabilities of the model's SkyRide chassis system.
In one video from July 14, a player uses his phone to control the vehicle's suspension, enabling a tabletop football game to be played on the car's roof.
The ET9 was officially launched a month ago on Nio Day 2024, with a starting price of RMB 788,000 including batteries, and deliveries are expected to begin in March.
