The Costa Rica store is Nio's first overseas location to showcase all three of its auto brands, including Onvo and Firefly.

The right-hand drive version of the Firefly EV has been officially launched in Thailand, priced at 799,000 baht ($24,460).

Firefly has already entered 10 overseas markets, with plans to expand to nearly 40 markets across Europe, the Americas, and Southeast Asia.

Nio is preparing a major restructuring of its European operations, with its remaining direct-sales markets likely transitioning to a more asset-light model, CnEVPost has learned.

Firefly commenced deliveries in Singapore after officially entering the city-state early last month.

Nio partners with a local distributor to offer vehicles under its main brand and sub-brand Onvo in Uzbekistan.

Nio currently offers the ET5, ET5 Touring, ES6, and ES8 in Hungary.

Nio said it is pleased to see China and the EU making steady progress toward consensus on the basis of mutual respect.

Nio sold 47,385 vehicles in China's domestic market in December, ranking 9th in the NEV market.

Singaporean customers can now reserve the Firefly EV through Wearnes, with the first local Firefly showroom opening in late January.
