Firefly president said several days ago that the brand will enter the UK and Thailand in 2026.

Firefly will accelerate its global expansion, with next steps including entry into 17 additional countries across Europe, America, and Southeast Asia.

Nio announced in August that it had partnered with an automotive retailer in Singapore to launch Firefly there in 2026.

These stations can function as energy storage facilities, helping balance electricity demand during peak periods.

Firefly is deepening its market penetration in Europe, North America, and Asia, it said, revealing for the first time its market expansion efforts will include North America.

Accompanying William Li on the European trip are Firefly president and Nio CFO Stanley Qu, who also heads Nio Power.

Nio has signed a dealer in Armenia, differing from its practice of appointing distributors in multiple other overseas markets.

In overseas markets, Nio will also collaborate with partners to build battery swap stations to reduce spending.

The first models to be launched in these new markets will include vehicles from the Nio, Onvo, and Firefly brands.
