Luxeed S7

The updated R7 and S7 feature upgraded autonomous driving technology, coming just seven months after their last refresh.

The updated Luxeed S7 sedan and updated Luxeed R7 coupe SUV start at RMB 229,800 ($32,130) and RMB 249,800, respectively.

The updated S7 sedan and R7 coupe SUV from Luxeed, as well as the BEV variant of Aito M8, will be launched at the event.

The all-new S7 and R7 are the first models launched by Luxeed in its Phase 2.0, and will feature more Huawei technologies.

Luxeed will begin pre-sales of updated editions of the S7 sedan and R7 coupe SUV on August 8, with official launch expected in September.

Customers who currently order the Xiaomi SU7 will have to wait for about 8 months for delivery.

Luxeed S7 orders averaged over 1,000 units per day just this past weekend, according to Huawei's Richard Yu, head of the company's automotive business.

Huawei said the Luxeed S7 has begun volume deliveries. The model was initially launched in November 2023 and has since been the subject of complaints over slow deliveries.

The re-launched Luxeed S7 will bring new features and will be able to deliver soon after launch, with monthly sales expected to be at around 5,000 units, according to local media.

The computing unit, called the MDC 810, powers advanced driver assistance systems, according to Reuters.
