All four of Li Auto's EREV models saw monthly deliveries plummet over 60 percent, while the i6 and i8 each delivered nearly 6,000 units in October.

Li Auto's four L series EREVs saw further significant year-on-year declines in August deliveries, while the Li Mega MPV continued approaching its record high.

Analysts estimate that Li Auto has secured more than 12,000 cancellable orders for the Li i8, which should support an optimistic delivery scenario by the end of September.

Li Auto will begin deliveries of the Li i8 on August 20, with a target of delivering between 8,000 and 10,000 units by the end of September.

Following the lukewarm initial reception of the Li i8, Li Auto is facing a tsunami of negative reviews on social media platforms.

As of press time, Li Auto was down 5.3 percent in Hong Kong, bringing its cumulative decline since July 21 to 21.8 percent.

The available trims for the Li i8 have been reduced from three to one, and the price has been lowered.

This is the second time Li Auto has been embroiled in a tricky public opinion controversy after the Li Mega MPV's launch.

As of press time, Li Auto was down more than 10 percent in Hong Kong, marking its biggest intraday decline in nearly four months.
